Hello, My name is Frances Aktipis Tsiolis. I have been one of the first wedding coordinators on this island. Our fantastic idea started in 1997, when a friend of mine asked, "How easy is it to get married in Zante?" My answer, of course, was "leave it up to me and I will sort everything out for you". I must admit, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Going through all the bureaucratical red tape was always the highlight of my day. Nevertheless, I was determined to fulfil my friend's dream.
Eleven years later, I have coordinated over 1000 weddings, each and every one being very different from each other.

I was born in Greece but raised in Chicago for 16 years, only to come back to my roots. I have been living in Zante since 1988, married with three kids. My husband was mayor of Tsilivi for the 4-year term.1998-2002 and now is one of the members of the local council. We are both very well known for our different activities and our fellow Zakynthians are fond of our great ideas. We try to help in any way we can. Myself, being raised in the States, knows how important a professional attitude is when it comes to business, but I have also inherited the local hospitality and warmth which helps to smooth out the fine lines.

Professionalism is needed when it comes to you knowing what you are paying for, no last minute extras. Having all orders go through with no hitches and coordinating over 20 people working together to make your fairytale story perfect is not an easy task.

Greeks are known for their "Greek maybe time", well that doesn't apply for us here. My mother-tongue being both English and Greek, helps immensely, so there are no miss-understandings on either side. Yes, of course, I get stressed, it comes with the territory. I love what I do and most of the times I consider it a hobby, so I will put in extra time and effort to make every detail count.
My satisfaction is seeing your smiles and how everyone is enjoying their evening.
Of course, I will kick off my shoes and teach you how to Greek dance (local tradition), so your reception will be filled with different surprises.

As I am a person that doesn't like to be in the limelight for too long, I will close my appraisal here.
